THE SEA

Lido del Sole is an excellent starting point for your excursions at sea and for the most enjoyable water sports:

• Windsurfing and kite surfing : these are among the most appreciated sports, thanks to the wind that characterizes the island of Sardinia;
• Sailing : it is possible to rent boats or take courses to learn techniques and maneuvers, at various levels;
• Excursions to the Island of Tavolara or to the wonderful coves nearby, reachable by renting the rafts
• Diving courses at all levels in the Diving Center of the area.

For those who prefer to experience the sea in a more classic and peaceful, the Lido del Sole also offers a beach equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, ideal for a family holiday.

THE NATURE

The Padrongianus Park is ideal for bird watching, light trekking, running and walking . Its paths allow you to move quietly throughout the area to admire the fauna and the particular flora. For those wishing to take guided tours there are the operators and guides of the Park, who will make you discover the places where they live the colonies of pink flamingos or that will move with you through the Mediterranean scrub in search of the most beautiful specimens of orchids and flowers wild that are born here spontaneous. Inside the Park it is also possible to rent canoes and bicycles to explore the naturalistic area independently.

FOLKLORE AND GASTRONOMY

From the Carnival period, in the province of Olbia is a succession of events and folk festivals that offer tourists the opportunity to learn about Sardinian traditions.

Among the most interesting festivals there is the San Pantaleo Folklore Festival held every year at the end of August and proposes Sardinian excellences in all their forms: from dance to song, from taste to style, which shows Gallura and it excites and amazes.

There are plenty of food and wine events dedicated to wine and typical products, as well as local crafts, such as the Porto Cervo Food Festival , which combines the pleasure of a holiday in Costa Smeralda to discover the Sardinian gastronomic excellences.

Naturally present the festivals dedicated to fish: the Mussel Festival in Sant'Antonio di Gallura , the Paranza Festival in Calangius and the Calamaro Festival in Porto Rotondo . So many festivals dedicated to lovers of the sea and good food.

For jazz lovers, Time in jazz for thirty years in Berchidda is one of the most popular events on the international scene of live music and attracts a large audience every summer.

The Ferragosto is the period in which the most glamorous appointments are concentrated, especially for the youngest: in the Golfo degli Aranci, in fact, the beach parties take place with music and fireworks.
